Welcome to the
Peke, Pug, Peke Pub, or for our Irish friends,
the Four P's. The GOP Restaurant is a pet friendly place and we
encourage our patrons to bring along their four legged friends.
We'll take good care of them here. The three characters you see
above are our resident operators of the Four P's.
On the left is Angel, the matriarch of the clan and resident sheriff. Angel is a pure white Pekingese that we rescued from a shelter a few years ago. It was a good deal for all involved. She got a home with a nice warm bed, a big backyard and three squares a day. We got a big dog in a little dog's body and a whole lotta love. It is amazing what magic one can find at the local pet shelter. The GOP Restaurant encourages our patrons who are looking for a four legged friend to check at the local shelter first. There's a ton of love waiting there for you.
On the right is our newest staff member of the Four P's, Rexini. He's also something of a rescue dog, but he's finally home and having a ball. He's still finding his way around the Four P's, but the other two girls are finding plenty of things for him to do. Sound familar guys?
Last, but certainly not least is our Pug in the middle, Abigail Adams aka "Abby". Abby is the enforcer at the Four P's. Nobody, not with two legs or four gets anything by Abigail. She can even herd cats (and yes, we have one of those too) which makes her perfect for the position of the party whip in the House. But, she's not running for office, her job here is too important. She's my best four legged friend and my constant companion whether I like it or not, and quite frankly, I like it. I'm getting pretty used to working at the computer with a pug laying on my lap. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Not to slight those of you with cats, the Four P's is an Equal Opportunity Pet Pub (EOPP) and we have our resident kitty here too.

This is
Ruthie. She was rescued in Washington DC several years ago and
finally found her way to the promised land in Southern California at
the GOP Restaurant. Ruthie is proof positive that life exists on other
planets because while we don't really know where she came from, we're
sure it isn't from Earth. There are times when we catch her
communicating with the mother ship and goodness knows what she's
telling them. Luckily, Ruthie is a Republican so we know she
comes from an advanced civilization.
