The Fred Thompson Draft
Ok folks, here's the
deal. The 2008 Presidential election is incredibly important for
the future of our nation and it is the responsibility of the Republican
Party to put forward our best candidate. We owe that to
America. In the opinion of the GOP Restaurant, that candidate is
former Tennessee Senator, Fred Thompson. I'll talk about why in a
future "Just between you and me and the
lamp post", but for now, we'll do a Thompson
Draft to encourage him to run.
I've broken into my private stash of fine Tennessee sippin' whiskey and I'm making it available to our patrons along with a glass of the finest American beer. Now, it's up to you to do your part. You take a sip of the whiskey and follow it with a drink of the beer. Think of the beer as a "Thompson chaser" which is what all the other Presidential candidates, Democrat and Republican will be doing once tbe Senator throws his hat into the race.
One last thing. Once you sample the "Fred Thompson Draft", you need to stand up and yell out "Run Fred, Run!!!" That just might get you a re-fill on the house.
